| We purchased 16 year old Charlie from a trail riding stable about 2 years ago. At that time he had been on the line his entire life. He has the sweetest disposition. Charlie has a gorgous trot that is extremly smooth. We purchased him for my 7 year old son hoping he would take an interest in riding and it did not work, therefore we need to sell him. He is up to date on shots and has coggins. He stands about 13 hands and is a black bay. He would make a great 4-H project. He is tall enough that a smaller adult can ride him, although my husband rides him often for a shorter period. He neck reins and when riding on the trails just follows perfectly. He is a little herd sour from being on the line for so many years you must have a stronger arm to take him away from the other horses. He does great in an arena or when following another horse.
