My name is Cole Cuchna and I'm 17 years of age. I am born and raised in Elk Grove so my life isn’t very intresting. I started playing the guitar on and off since I was 13 years old. My first guitar was a cheap little child’s size acoustic guitar that I got for Christmas one year. I taught myself all the basic stuff on that guitar. The next year I got my first electric guitar which I still use now. My friends and I formed a band in 8th grade originally called Pariah which included Justin Decent from Speeding in the Rain and Jaydn DeWald from, you guessed it, RedTopRoad! We practiced once or twice a week and played probably a total of 7 party’s/shows. We pretty much sucked, but it was a good experience.

Shortly after that is when I started to take lessons. I took guitar lessons for about 3 or 4 months, but I didn’t really like them much. When I stopped taking lessons I really didn’t do much musically. I picked up my guitar now and then but nothing serious. I got heavily into skateboarding which consumed all of my time, which wasn’t a bad thing because I love skateboarding.

As time went on I started playing my guitar more and more. This was around the beginning of my senior year. I started talking to Jaydn at school about RTR. He showed me a burnt copy of their CD (which was actually the FireFighter E.P.) they recently made and I was really impressed. I learned all of their songs just for fun, not knowing that they would one day come to use. A couple of weeks later Jaydn informed me that they were having problems with their guitarist and asked me if I was interested in playing guitar for them. My obvious answer was yes and I’ve been a sad, sad man ever since. Just Kidding! I love playing guitar for RTR and I have made close friends because of it. Although I have influenced the band into becoming dorks (our hobbies are now fingerboarding, watching south park, and playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2), I’m having the time of my life right now. Well, enough about my boring life…here are some fun facts about me.
