| Born in Stirling in 1971, Ferguson kicked off his career with Dundee United and Glasgow Rangers. The towering inferno was pried away from Ibrox by Mike Walker for a three-month loan spell and his 4.4 million transfer was completed by new manager Joe Royle in 1994.
