| One of the most famous and easily recognisable badges in English football. The Latin motto on the Club badge is, "Nil Satis Nisi Optimum" which means, 'Nothing is satisfactory except that which is optimum' or 'Nothing but the best is good enough'. |

| The tower on the crest represents the bridewell that was built on Everton Brow in 1787, near Stanley Park where the boys of St. Domingo's first played football. On each side of the tower is a decorative laurel reath. | ||||||||||||
