Do you ever see the nice ladys with black roots and white streaks? Well Thanks to Chuck Gerber at" Hair on the Lake"he brought a wonderful seminar teacher in to help us learn to Carmelize hair with out that skunk effect. I use foil or this new styrafoam cap that lets you and I choose where the highlights would look best,I highlight up to a certain point,(not white because that causes more stress and damage) and then after I use a mild semi-permanant carmel color. Now even people with black hair can get brownish golden highlights.
Because that is my speciality and one of my favorite services I only charge between $35.00 and $45.00 The Salons I have worked in prior to opening my salon charged between $55.00 & $100.00 I feel if I can keep my prices low and have that wonderful free advertisment walking around it is all worth while.
