| Aftermath by rachel spellman Cousins, husbands, fathers, brothers Aunts, uncles, wives and mothers. All those lives in the hands of fate: Tragedy, deaths, destruction, hate. Loss, grieve. Get angry. Sob. Foreigners hide from the angry mob. Give help; heal at your station. The people all come together as a nation. Reassure, promise, give hope to the end- Unity is not as sweet as revenge. Fight for our country to get back on its feet, Fight while the others clean up the street. All we needed was this tiny shove To show off our country's never ending love. Hope, courage, strength, pride-- America we will stand by your side. |
