The Recovering from Religion Web Ring was created to link together websites that are helpful to those who have left or are leaving religious fundamentalism. Typical websites in the Ring include personal testimony pages, discussion and support forums, and informational resource sites. This Ring is for those recovering from religious fundamentalism. No websites that promote a fundamentalist religion will be accepted. By fundamentalist religion we mean a religion that believes its way to be the "only way" and that everyone should convert to that "way".
We ask that your Web Ring navigation bar be either on your main/home page or on a page that is easily accessible from your main/home page, and easily identifiable. This is done so that those who wish to travel through the ring won't get "lost" at a site where they can't find the Ring's nav bar to move forward.
Once your site is submitted to the Ring, you may copy and add the code for the Ring navigation bar to your page right away. Submissions are usually reviewed within one week. If you wish to wait to add the Ring's nav bar code until after you receive notice that your site has been approved, we ask that you add the bar as soon as possible after receiving approval notice. The Ring navigation bar will look like the one located at the bottom of this page.
Sites that do not have an active working navigation bar for an extended period of time will be suspended from the Ring. If you are new to the Ring, please be sure to have the nav bar active on your site as soon as possible after approval. Sites that are suspended and do not respond to the suspension notice by correcting the navigation bar will be removed from the Ring, but may reapply at any time.
