Paul Knaus, Ryan Parker and Philip Goetz are all students at the University of Texas at Austin. They have chosen to look at record stores and music downloading as their subject for a 12 minute documentary for Paul Stekler's Spring 2004 Advanced Documentary class.

What in the hell is the "music industry"? British cultural theorist Raymond Williams would say that there is no music industry per say but only ways of looking at people or groups of systems as such.
