We the people,
Matt Sandstedt, hereby declare that the world will from this
day forward, have a viable allternative to Afternoon Records
for exposure to the most mediocre music Minneapolis Minnesota
has to offer. Matt Records also sees it fit to assure the public
that this record label is not run by Ian Anderson, or Noah Pastur.
That is Promise number one of Matt Records. The Matt Records
Promises are as Fallows.
Matt
Records Promise Number One: Matt Records is not run
by Ian Anderson or Noah Pastur
Matt
Records Promise Number Two: Matt Records is not and
never will be Afternoon Records.
Matt
Records Promise Number Three: Matt Records will be
your friend regardless of sexuel orientation, race, or gender.
Lets see Afternoon Records make THAT promise.
AMENDMENT
ONE, SECTION 1: Matt Records has supreme reign
over the land of the Cities Twin. Henceforth and etcettera,
no other record label shall be recognized in accordance with
M.R. Bylaw #247, Scentence 3: Other labels in the area,
quite frankly, just aren't as superior as us, so we'll pretend
like they don't exist.
AMENDMENT
ONE, SECTION 2: Matt Records, at any time,
may sign bands that might already be "signed" to other
labels. The legalities of this are clearly structured in M.R.
Bylaw # 133, Scentence 24: We will sign anyone we want,
irregardless if the law prohibits us from doing so, because
we are above the law.
The people
must rise up, and free themselve from the tyranny of Afternoon
Records. No longer will we be subjected to mediocrety in our
Twin Cities Music. No longer shall the weak be forced to purchase
Afternoon Records Products that they were guilted into buying.
NO, it ends here, with the beginning of Matt Records, the new
home of mediocrity.
This is
the word of Matthew Sandstedt. All Hail Matthew Sandstedt.
