testimony: I was not brought up in church or with a religious background, but I do remember my mom and dad telling me Jesus dies for people's sins. They grew up Catholic, but I was not forced to believe or go to church. My parents hardly went except for Christmas and Easter, if that, and I decided not to do anything about religion or spirituality.

When I was lost I would not call myself a bad person, but compared to God, I was and far from Him. During my freshman year in high school I met this girl, now my best friend, who is a Christian. She told me about God and Christ's love. Months later I went to hear an evangelist at her church and I felt convicted by the Holy Spirit to repent and be baptized because I did not know God through Jesus! Since 1999 I am a believer saved by faith through grace! Amen!
