The fire armor, Wildfire, chose a boy named Ryo, who had immense strength of character and incredible leadership abilities.
The light armor, Halo, chose Sage (Seiji), a wise boy whose family lineage had passed down amazing psychic abilities.
The water armor, Torrent, chose Cye (Shin), a sensitive boy whose connection with nature allows him to live freely in any enviroment.
The earth armor, Hardrock, chose Kento (Shu), a bull-headed, muscle bound, impatient boy who protects the weak from opressors.
The air armor, Strata, chose Rowen (Touma), an intelligent boy whose thirst for knowledge and justice knows no bounds.
Talpa didn't know where the five elemental armors had hidden themselves but he knew where the seasonal ones were. Using his powers he forged four ordinary men with dark energy to become evil warlords. Each warlord had powers over certain dark forces; Anubis ruled fear, Dais ruled illusion, Sehkmet ruled poison and Cale ruled darkness.
With his new warlords, Talpa has set out to control Japan, starting with Tokyo. Following their master, the four warlords enslaved the people of Tokyo. Then, all of a sudden, five teenage boys stood in the streets, wearing the armor of the Ronins. And so the epic battle of good versus evil began......
