History: Manuel was born to a poor Mexican family in the ghettos of New Sacramento. His dark fur is due to a rare genetic mutation. Because of his black fur, he has been teased and shunned for most of his life. As he grew older, Manuel showed great marksman abilities. He could hit a can from 50 yards away with a nine millimeter pistol. He joined the Army at the age of 18 and served as a Ranger for nearly 10 years. As soon as he got out he started his own business. Doing both security work and "gray area" type work, he has amassed a large amount of money. He became known as Shadow, the Bounty Hunter. When a bounty was posted on his own head, Shadow lost more than just customers. He lost his family. One bounty hunter tortured and murdered his mother, father and sister. Manuel does not show how much the loss has hurt him. He uses it to fuel his anger towards drug runners and serial killers.

His parents agreed to pay for his college tuition, but disowned him after he graduated. He has worked in several small garages, barely making it by. When he was working on a very exspensive speeder, he found several faults. He fixed them and improved the speeder's engine. The owner was so impressed with Pedro's work, that he offered him a job. The owner was the most famous bounty hunter in New Sacramento, Shadow DeCacas. Aside from being Shadow's mechanic, Pedro is his Chaufeur, bomb defuser, assistant, sidekick and much more.
Also, he gets paid very well, and he's dating Maria, Shadow's secretary. Lucky kitty.

History: Maria is a one of the few Apaches left in America. She was born to a tribe in Houston, but she was born with a defect. Her legs didn't work. They were perfectly formed, they just failed to react to her brain impulses. She was told she'd be in her wheelchair for the rest of her life. When she was 10, her parents bought her an old computer. She immediatley upgraded it with her own pocket money. Amazingly at the age of 14 she successfully hacked into the Pentagon, undetected. She majored in Computer Sciences in college, but dropped out when she realized that she knew all the curriculum. She met Shadow in a bar and they dated shortly. Shadow offered her a job with very good pay. She would be his central information operator and secretary. She agreed and almost immediatley increased his business. While working for Shadow, she met Pedro, his mechanic. There were sparks flying and finally they went on a date. They fell in love and live together in a small apartment near "The Shop" Is there a wedding planned? Maybe.

History: Lupino is a name synonomous with mystery. No one has ever seen him or heard his real voice. What is known about him, is accented by urban legends. His fortune undoubtably springs from drugs and crime. Some believe him to be a poor man who fell ass backwards into some money and began an underground drug ring. Some believe that he started out a drug dealer, and then grew in finance and started his own drug ring.
Whatever he did to become rich, it worked. Perhaps Manuel "Shadow" DeCacas is his biggest (and only) monetary rival. Shadow is rumored to be the second richest furre in New Sacramento. Lupino is the first. Whatever his legends, one thing is certain. He is dangerous and powerful. Crossing his path is considered as dangerous as shooting roman candles at a nuclear warhead.
