Indoor Soccer Rules 2007

 

1)  Games will be 5 on 5, with a goalie.

 

2)  Games will consist of two 15 minute halves.  *If there is a tie, one 5 minute golden goal overtime will be played.  If it is still tied after 5 minutes, the game will end in a tie.*

 

3)  Each team will have a maximum of 9 people, and a minimum of 6.

 

4)  Each team may consist of no more than 3 current or former varsity players.  *Only 2 out of the 3 are allowed to be on the court at the same time.*

 

5)  1 yellow card is a warning, 2 yellow cards equals an ejection from the tournament.

 

6)  A red card equals an ejection from the tournament.

 

7)  *Blue cards will be given for minor infractions.  A player receiving a blue card must sit out for one minute, during which time their team will be one man down.*

 

8)  No slide-tackling

 

9)  Balls kicked above the bleachers and off the ceiling or hoops are out of bounds.

 

10)  One timeout per team per game

 

11)  The referees will explain any other rules prior to each game.

 

12)  ROSTERS ARE SET once the games begin.

 

13)  The cost is $5 per person, so the team total will be at least $30 and at most $45.  Your team will forfeit games until you get all of your money turned in.

 

14)  Any player that is not a school athlete or has not turned in a copy of their insurance card for a prior event must do so before the first game to be eligible to compete.
