Method
Peel, slice and cook 4 apples in a little water
with 8 cloves.
Drain and remove cloves. Place in pie dish.
Topping
Crumble 2 tablespoons of butter into 1 cup flour.
Mix in 1/2 cup of cocoanut. Then sprinkle topping
over apples.
Dust lightly with cinnamon.
Cook in moderate oven for 30 minutes. Serve
with cream or icecream.
