Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies

3/4 cup margarine, softened
1.5 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 egg replacers
2 cups all-purpose or white flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup chopped nuts (omit if you don't feel like adding a healthful aspect to the recipe)
1 package of chocolate chips (both Hershey's and Presidents Choice are dairy-free)

Cream together the margarine, sugar, and vanilla; add egg replacers and beat well. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; add to creamed mixture. (Note: Don't worry if it looks funny -- the recipe will still work!) Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375F for 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown. Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet. Let cool on wire racks for crunchier cookies or on plates for softer cookies.
