Snow Peas Stir-fried with Garlic


2.5 Tbsps peanut oil
1/2 tsp salt
2 cloves garlic, minced
3/4 lb snow peas (a good heavy handful), cut into julienne (i.e. slivers)

Heat wok or frying pan over high heat for 30 seconds. Add the oil and salt and coat the pan. Add the garlic and stir. When garlic turns light brown, add the snow peas and stir-fry together. When the snow peas turn bright green, turn off the heat, transfer to a heated serving dish, and serve immediately.
