| Submitted by: Jennifer Murawski March 2002 Ingredients: 2 Tbsp sugar 1 C all purpose flour 1 C finely chopped walnuts or pistachios (reserve 1 tbsp for garnish) 1/2 C (1 stick) butter 8 oz. cream cheese (softened) 2/3 C powdered sugar 16 oz. cool whip - divide 2 1/2 C milk 2 small (3/4 oz) packages of pistachio instant pudding Directions: crust: soften butter add sugar, flour & finely ground nuts. Press into a 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 325 for 15 minutes. Let cool. Layers: Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar and 8 oz. cool whip. spread over cooled crust. Mix puddings with milk - beat until blended. Pour over layer of cream cheese mixture. Spread remaining 8 oz. cool whip over pudding layer. Sprinkle chopped pistachios on top. |
