| Submitted by: Jennifer Murawski February 2003 Ingredients: Sauce: 1 1/2 lb ground sirloin 1/2 C choppen onion 1 lg. can crushed tomatoes 1 lg. can tomato sauce 1 lg. tomato paste 1 C water 5-6 garlic cloves 1-2 Tbsp Oregano 1-2 Tbsp Basil 1-2 Bay leaves pepper salt 1 Tbsp sugar 2 Tbsp oilve oil 1 Tbsp parsley 9 Lasagne Noodles Mozzarella cheese Asiago Cheese Romano Cheese Parmesean Directions: Cook hamburger in frypan, add 1 tbsp basil, 1 tbsp oregano, onions, pepper & about 3 crushed garlic cloves, cook thoroughly. In a large saucepan, add all your other sauce ingredients. Simmer with hamburger for 3-4 hours. To make lasagne: Layer in 9 x 13 pan: sauce, 3 noodles, sauce, 1/3 of all cheeses, noodles, sauce, cheese, etc, until 3 layers. Bake at 350 dgrees for about 45 minutes or until slightly brown & bubbly. Let stand 15 minutes before cutting. |
