Ingredients:

2 C raisins
1 1/2 C boiling water
4 tsp baking soda
4 Tbsp butter, softened
1 1/2 C sugar
1/2 C brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 C walnut
4 C flour

Directions:
Heat oven to 350.  Grease and flour 6-7 large (19 oz.) soup cans.

Place raisins in large bowl and cover with boiling water.  Let cool.

Stir in soda, then all remaining ingredients in order listed, adding flour gradually.

Pour batter into soup cans, filling them 1/2 full.

Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
