| June 2001 Submitted by: Vivian Siismets Ingredients: 1/3 C Flax Seeds 3 1/4 C to 3 3/4 C all purpose flour 1 pkg. dry yeast 1 1/2 C warm water 2 tsp olive oil 1 Tbsp honey 1 1/4 tsp salt 2 to 3 tsp additional flax seeds Directions: 1. Heat flax seeds in skillet over medium heat and stir until they begin to "pop". Cool completely then grind in coffee grinder. This should make 1/2 C "flour". 2. Add all ingredients into bread machine pan set on dough setting. Knead in more flour if too sticky. 3. Roll dough into 9 x 13 rectangle. Moisten with water, pat additional seeds into dough. Cut into strips and twist. Let rise until double. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes. |
