| Submitted by: Laura Boeve June 2002 Ingredients: 2 12 oz. pkgs of semisweet chocolate pieces (4 C) 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate 1/4 C butter 1/2 C all purpose flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 4 eggs 1 1/3 C sugar 2 tsp vanilla 2-3 C broken walnuts melted white chocolate melted semisweet chocolate Directions: In heavy sauceoan, heat 1 pkg of choco chips, unsweetened chocolate, and butter til melted, stirring constantly. Trabsfer to large bowl to cool slightly. Mix flour, baking powder and salt, set aside Add eggs, sugar, vanilla and cocolate mixture and heat with electric mixer. Add flour mixture & beat on low. Stir in remaining chocolate pieces & nuts Use 1/4 C dough for each cookie on lightly greased sheet. Flatten slightly. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes, until edges are firm and surface is dull & cracked. Stand for 2 minutes. Remove & cool on rack. Drizzle with melted white chocolate & semisweet chocolate. |
