| Submitted by: Barb Upmeyer February 2002 Ingredients: � package frozen Spinach and Mozzarella ravioli 1 packet seasoning from ravioli bag 2 Tbsp. butter 2 Tbsp. flour 1 1/2 cups milk � package of fresh spinach basil, oregano, salt (optional) Directions: Make a white roux by melting butter and mixing in flour over very low heat. Add milk slowly and stir constantly until the mixture thickens. This may take 5-10 minutes (try to do this step without interruptions!). Chop spinach and add to roux. Add basil, oregano and/or salt if you want. Set aside. Boil ravioli gently 8-10 minutes. Add the seasoning packet to the roux. Pour roux over ravioli and serve. |
