| Easter Ham Dinner |
| Go to the store a week before Easter and buy one of them hams in the can with juices. It's an easy ham to make and it tastes good too. Unless your rich stay away from Honey Baked Ham because buying a ham at that place would eat up a week's salary for me. The store bought hams are just as good, if not better. Open the ham on Easter morning and put it in a big raosting pot with some pineapple slices and bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Serve canned peas with the ham, and some bread if you like it like my husband does, he cant get enough bread in his diet. Every meal my husband insists on having bread. One time I forgot to put bread on the supper table and he made me drive to the store to buy some before I could serve dinner. By the time I got back from the store my supper was cold and it didn't taste good because it was cold instead of hot. If you plan to serve bread with your Easter ham dinner you better make sure you have some bread in the pantry, because if your husband is like mine, you wont get any rest unless some bread slices are on the table with a plate of butter. After the ham comes out of the oven put it on a plate. You can take a picture of it if you have a camera, but dont hold up dinner because last Easter I stopped to take pictures of the meal and my husband said if I dont serve him soon he would take the camera and shove it up my "big ass". Now I always take the pictures of the food while he goes to warsh up for supper. For dessert I serve pineapple upside down cake I get at the grocery store. If you wait three days after they make it you can get the cake at half price. HAPPY EASTER! |
