2-3/4 cups flour
1-1 / 2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1/2 cup shortening
1 / 2 cup margarine
1 teaspoon salt
Topping:
2 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons cinnamon
Cream sugar, margarine, vanilla, soda, shortening, salt, cream of tartar, and eggs.
Gradually add flour. Form walnut size ball. and roll in sugar and cinnamon topping.
Place on greased cookie sheet and bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
