A great Outback Adventure!
Unfortunately, there just isn't room left on my website to add a lot of photos from this fun adventure (as I have almost reached the limit).  So, this one item from our trip throughout the outback will have to suffice.

In November 2001, Kirstie and I took an amazing two week road trip from the Gold Coast to Bourke (her home town).  We drove the 14 hour drive in her '79 For Cortina that sucked dust the whole way... fun times... Our luggage was coated in an inch of dust when we arrived at her parents' place.  We took many photos of road signs, animals, and any interesting shots we found along the way.  We passed through many towns which only had a population of under 100 people.

We had brought our mascots along with us (the rams - Woolsey & Ramsey) and so they made it into most of the photos.  Once in Bourke, we had a super time with her family - playing with her nieces and taking a few day trips (some other activities included swimming, water skiing, boat ride on the JANDRA, horse back riding, yard work for her dad, "attempting to learn how to drive Standard" in the paddock - what a laugh Kirstie & I had at my attempts!!!, quad biking, a trip to the "mountain", and kangaroo & pig hunting with Kirstie's friend Sean and some of his friends...)

Coming back to the Coast, we rode in style as we
left the Cortina there and came back in her new
"red bubble" car... a mazda, can't remember the
specifics, but it was great!! had air conditioning even!

What an amazing adventure we had!
