| Vincent Matthew Tanner, age 11. Adopted at age 8 after spending three years in foster care following his mother's death. Vin has a wicked sense of humor, usually unleashed with the help of either JD or Ezra. |

Extremely intelligent and secretive, Ezra's past remains unknown, even to the Judge who placed him with the Larabees. |

| Nathan King Jackson, age 18. Adopted nine years ago, Nathan is a senior in high school and an EMT-in-training. He plans to become a doctor, starting at UC-Boulder next year. |
| Randall Bucklin Wilmington, age 23. Adopted at age 11, Buck is the one of the boys who has always known he'd work the ranch his whole life. Inveterate ladies' man and charmer, never forgets a face or a story. |
| Christopher James Larabee, age 24. The only biological child of their parents, Chris is the unspoken leader of the brothers. He is a county deputy, after returning from his stint in the Navy two years ago. |
| Josiah Ezekiel Sanchez, age 30. The son of a missionary, Josiah was adopted at 15 by the Larabees. Now a psychologist, Josiah works at a youth center in Eagle Bend. |
