Gone is the smiling, chubby amber pup who bounced around without a care in the world. The smile and the bright eyes are still there, and the fluffiness of her fur has become sleek and smooth as her adult pelt grows in, and there are a few cares she carries with her now. Her only family in the world, her brother Zeke had always been prone to brooding. But he had now gone far beyond anything in Luna's experience, even their gentle adoptive father Deayna was at a loss with how to cope with him. Moody and snappy, Zeke has become obsessed with finding his parents and spends most of the day away from the pack, sometimes not even returning at night. Luna misses him and stays up late worrying, and the next morning her smile doesn't come quite as quick. Larson, her best friend, has turned away from her and from everyone, leaving her lonelier than ever. Deayna realizes that neither his adoptive son or daughter are particularly happy - and he sought out information on the close-knit family pack of the Fire Eagles, in hopes they might both find something good for them there. No doubt Luna is going to turn heads. Life may not be a breeze anymore, but there can be little doubt Luna still has a spring to her step that can't help but make her stand out. She's tall now too, almost as tall as Deayna is, and with her shining fur and shining eyes and shining personality, it certainly won't be long before the Fire Eagles notice Luna.

The sun and the moon are at one, existing in as delicate balance as they have for hundreds of millions of years. During the day the sun is our energy, out light, and our warmth, and without it we would not exist. When the sun falls from view in the evening, the moon hangs in the sky, reflecting the light from the sun to remind us it is still there. But this poses the question: would we loose faith in the sun at night, if the moon were not there, or would be loose faith in the moon because it was not there to remind us of the sun?
They are closely intertwined, but one must remember this: without the sun, weather we see it or not, the moon would never be seen. And yet it is the moon who keeps our hope through the night. To separate the two is to split the bond between them and ruin the solar-lunar co-existence.
The sun and the moon must work together. Or both will fall.

Silver Moon Golden Sun

Zeke

Luna and her brother are so unlike each other they will probably never be close and yet there is something that binds them together. It might be that while Zeke, dark of pelt and nature, belongs to the night, while Luna with her sunny pelt and disposition is a creature of the day when really, there is a golden sun hidden under a grey fringe and Luna, by her very name and markings, has much to do with the evening hours.

Deayna

Lunas adoptive caretaker has done quite well in raising her and Zeke, despite having no previous parenthood experience. Oh, he worries about her when she disappears for hours on end and is probably a little stricter on her than he needs to be when she turns up again, but there is a deep affection between them. He can always be encouraged into a game and ensures Luna has the best possible care he can give her.

Larson

Luna refers to Larson as her best friend, and indeed she is very fond of him and enjoys their games together immensely. However, it might just be that Larosn was the first pup she met in the early days of her life, that he was easiest to find when she was in an overly playful mood, that he was the one with the most tolerance of her acute enthusiasm. Still, weather by choice or circumstance she took him as a friend, she will hear nothing bad spoken about him and will continue to seek him out every moment she has spare. It might seem strange to outside eyes that the pretty little pup had chosen the rather unattractive Larson as her playmate but Luna sees only his shy smile upon that roman-nosed muzzle, sees only her best buddy when she looks at him.

It's a new world - it's a new start
It's alive with the beating of young hearts
It's a new day - it's a new plan
I've been waiting for you
Here I am

Don't let me see mistakes and lies
Let me keep my faith and innocent eyes
My innocent eyes

Under my feeling under my skin
Under the thoughts from within
Learning the subtext
Of the mind
See creation how where defined
