| Oh how the wind does blow, In furious gales of blinding snow; The blizzard that blinds your sight, Changing fields from green to white; Feel the cold chill in the winter air, The gusty wind rushing through your hair. Oh how the wind does blow, Branches waving to and fro; Litter blown across the street, People swept right off their feet; The wind begins it's mighty battle, Doors slam shut and windows rattle. Oh how the wind does blow, A desert storm begind to grow; The golden sea of shifting sands, Moved around by an invisible hands; A dust storm strikes with might, Turning the light of day into a night. Oh how the wind does blow, A flame erupts from an embers glow; The fire spreads with greatest ease, On a summer day and gentle breeze; The wind flowing althought out of sight, Fires blazing throughout the night. Oh how the wind does blow, As tempsts brew birds fly low; ships are tossed upon the sea, Lightning strikes so wild and free; The flashing sky and thick black cloud, A thunder clap that sounds so loud. Oh how the wind does blow, The hurricane that starts so slow; death and destruction within it's wake, Nothing is too sacred for it to take; Now the storm is dying fast' But of the wind we have not seen the last. |
