Why farming?
Well, we all need food, most have access to some land, and most have some experience. But, the most important reason: we can work in harmony with God�s creation, and be closer to Him... Do not forget all the variables: we must rely on Him for everything: the sun, rain, soil conditions, seeds, the growth of the crop, problems and pests related to the crop, and even the marketing. As you can see this project is long term, and a faith builder, as we must trust in our Lord 100%...
OUR GOAL:
To have one of the largest and most efficient orgainic vegetable producing farms in the Philippines, under the watchful eye of our Senior Partner, Our Lord.
Then, Using our profits for the furthurance of His Kingdom. Using Organic and conventional farming techniques, and a unique planting system we will help in countless ways: providing food and jobs, a home if needed, and most importantly Spiritual guidance helping direct souls to accept Him, and become "Born anew", securing their "eternal destiny"..
Future goal: Being a logical and profitable appraoch to farming, we will be a training center and a home; Working with local Churches and communities we will accept referrals, from rehab. centers, jails, broken homes, and older street children. Let�s work together and do our part!
AREA REQUIRED:
20 - 80 hectares arable land, with possible expansion
LOCATION:
Bukidnon, Mindanao, Philippines
INITIAL PLAN OF ACTION:
a.) 3 - 6 month evaluation period required for more accurate long term projection
b.) starting: Hire one full time experienced farmer / manager, and several trainees'.
c.) concentrating on a few main crops: corn, cabbage, bean (rotating for soil maintenance)
d.) after the planting process begins, will commence with long term planting: banana etc.
e.) always maintaining an organic section of various vegetables: tomato, onion, and garlic
f.) study possiblility of increasing fresh water fish production
g.) a small investment will be made in reproducing ornamental plants
h.) after well established in planting procedures, will integrate a tractor, plow.
STAFF MANAGEMENT
a.) I will assist in overseeing, training, managing, and site development, (a consultant)
b.) General labor: Starting on a base of P700./month, +food, + introducing profit sharing*
b.) monthly outings will be planned, including sports for unity. Bonuses when possible.
c.) the project will be run with regular meetings and daily prayer.

STRATEGY
1. planting one 5 - 10 hectare section within 30 days.
2. repeat this procedure for at least 4 times
3. harvest and planting procedures will be monthly
4. sections of land will be charted, recorded, dated, and crop rotation in effect.

INTRODUCING PROFIT SHARING
A unique system will be used to include all paricipants to 50% of the net profit. The remainder will be used for the running of the farm, base salaries, equipment, land, mainitenace, etc. Statements will be issued via email to donors, or anyone simply requesting this info. Please take note: since we are far from any computer, please be patient and expect a few delays! But rest assured we will get back to you.

Firstly we require your prayer, as this is what makes the world go round. Please pray for us. Pray for success in all aspects of the farm. For the management, participants, our crops, and harvests, and for the Word of God to influence all who are around us.
As you can see from our budgets, they are relatively small, as we are only concerned for immediate needs at present..

I�m a Canadian citizen by birth, (just turned the big 40), but spend little time in Canada these days. I feel more Filipino than anything, and do feel that is where the rest of my days will be. I accepted the Lord in 1986 while in the Philippines during the ousting of Ferdinand Marcos. (That was a story in itself). I turned a "180" and started serving the Lord full time, since that time I�ve had some of the hardest years of my life, but some of the BEST. Never a boring moment!
