YEAR-2004
This is a newspaper article about the artist Colin McMahon. He incorporated
text in his series of later paintings. The letters form words.
They are 'wordy images'. Alike school blackboards. I am trying to adopt
different approaches with text-be it as words or as a jumble of letters
(mixed up). There is a series of both paintings and artist books that
I have been working on-that incorporate words/letters with imagery/found objects.
