Hello, welcome again, this section for the people who are interested in MSX GAMES.
Don’t be shy from using MSX GAMES that are old and we should forget them! That’s wrong, the thing with out pastè ought to be no future, I'll say an example: KONAMI corporation was interested to produce MSX GAMES, and every one knows METAL GEAR SOLIDE 1-2 on PLAY STATION. Did you know that this perfect game was designed in the past in the same name, idea, personal and targets on MSX.
This is the story of this game, The MSX computer was the beginning of the most computer corporations. And it gives them the excellent take off to design, programming…
May be you are one of the people who are played MSX GAMES in the past, and could not to finish it for some reason. And MSX1 owners had problems in finishing games, they could not save games because there are some people who don’t own devices that let them to save the game and continue from the last save.
Once I was sitting in internet café, and start thinking, if there is possible that will be any information about MSX Computers on the internet, I was surprised that I found thousand of web sites that are containing information, programs, emulators… whole world by it self. I found all these by put the word "MSX" in search box in the browser. Try it by your self you'll see!!!
The usually CARTRIDGE GAMES for MSX have the extension "*.ROM", you can run any of them by the emulators, what we spoke about in the other section. For more information about how to run games with different extensions of MSX GAMES CLICK HERE.
I'll talk about some games, there are many games to talk about, but the most difficult MENTAL GAME I had known in the world and preferred it on many games even the 3D games, this game has two parts, part 1, called, "CASTLE", part 2 called, "CASTLE EXCELLENT".
Please if you want to play the scientific game, try first CASTLE 1 before CASTLE 2 else you will had a headache.
The game is talking about a knight that he wants to help the princess, he is standing at out side of the castle, and the game starts when he opens the yellow door, after taking the yellow Key.
You can't open any Door without having the right Key, the yellow key opens the yellow door, blue key opens the blue door and the light blue key opens the light blue door… and so on!
The game start with normal or easy difficulty and becomes hard and insane, this game is not ARCADE it's ADVENTURE & ARCADE together, the two parts, in the first screen "room" you will see above in the right corner a map, this map is useful to know where you are and where to go.
The difficulty of the whole game is how to open the doors or how you can take the keys, for knowledge you can't open doors when you are jumping! And you can not move things when you are jumping!
Watch out there are a lot of enemies, you should be survived, watch out from the candle, if you came above it at the fire you will be died!
You will see that just talking is easy, if you consider your self a smart person try to play it, your opinion will be changed automatically!
These are two pictures for the last room in the CASTLE 1, picture èAç is the room with the problem, Picture èBç is after the solution… try to think how it was solved, remember that every one that played and this game finished it, he said it is easy after years of thinking and thinking and thin…

***HINTS: As you see, from the two pictures, you should arrange the pieces together, the rock with the rock, the jar above the jar and the barrel above the barrels (The 5 pieces)!

I could not finish this game in the past by playing this game on MSX computer, Now I finished it by using the MSX Emulator… thanks for everybody who designed those emulators, and let us have the fun with those games again!!!

The most MSX games "*.ROM" files in the web had the extension "*.LZH", you'll need a small program called LHA.EXE, make the WINZIP to identify this program by the followingRun winzip in classic mode not the wizard! | Go to option menu. Configuration | Program Locations | In the right section, you'll see some non-zip formats, in the middle, you cans see LHA word, beneath it a box, write the location of LHA program buy using brows (the small box with 3 dots) or not! Then press OK
***NOTE: this program cannot process the long direction to extract, please extract it in near of the root directory, or in one folder in the root directory, else an error message will appear!!!
Or I prefer WinRARjust make winrar associated to "lzh" and all comressed types.. and EZ you can extract the files without doing it by command prompt!
