Printed off an article from wetcanvas last night about luminous skin tones and armed with that I'm going to have another play with the portrait.   The horse is going well too, I have solved the mystery of the strange facial anatomy, he had been clipped half way along his cheek!!!  ha ha very funny, only took me about 4 years to figure that one out.  Note to myself, "take better and more  ref pictures!"
