periods 4, 5, and 6
The week of:
11-3-08: The students will continue working on the Basic Shape with Oil Pastels assignment. This assignment is to be completed by Friday 11-21-08. This assignment will be graded like all of other major assignments including 25 points for Creativity, 25 points for Craftsmanship, 25 points for Following Directions, and 40 points for Completion.
12-1-08: The students will begin a new assignment, Torn Paper Mosaics. This assignment will continue for 3 weeks. The students will first copy the teacher made notes and then find a photo reference to use. This photo reference should be a picture of a plant, animal or a self portrait. Hints the title, Torn Paper, the students will tear the construction paper into dime size pieces and glue them to the tag board. The entire format space should be covered with torn pieces of paper. NOTE: DO NOT USE SCISSORS!
