Roland and Rebecca live just to the north of Ohori Park. It's great to have such a wonderful place so close. The park is wonderful for walking and running. Also, you can just sit and watch people feed the huge fish and turtles that are so abundant. We have already met many people in the park. Around the outside of the lake is a 2 km running track paved with rubber. Also in this photo you can see a guy riding one of these funny mini-bikes that are so popular (and his one is a big mini-bike!). |

A common sight at Ohori Park are walkers. Ladies are frequently bundled up, even on very hot days, to protect themselves from the sun. Women also usually carry sun umbrellas on sunny days. |

Every morning in Ohori Koen, the care takers are out in full force. They diligently rake around all the benches, trees, and sandy areas. They sweep the paths, clean out the storm drains, trim and prune everything. |
