War Between the States Reenacting
I always wanted to be  a War of Northern Agression (Civil War) reenactor and  for the last nine years now I have.  I have quickly worked my way through the ranks from a private to my position of Captain.
I have been a member of two Confederate Regiments the 47th Va, and now 5th Va.
The 5th is a  unit I helped start ,at the begining of the 2000 reenacting season.  We are small but enjoy each others company.  We are growing  and are actively recruiting.  So if you're interested please let me know!
On this page you will find links to Civil War related sites.  You will find sutlers who sell all the equiptment you need to portray a soldier, salior, civilian or lady of the 1860's.  You will find the link to my reenacting company.
Then and now: Below; me at the 125th Sharpsburg Reenactment just excited to hold a musket and be with real Cvil War Soldiers.  Left; My son Chuckie and I at Cedar Creek 2004, he is about the same age as me in th other picture.
Some of the basics a Confederate reenactor needs.  Clockwise: Enfield Rifle, Dog tent set-up, canvas haversack, and Jeanwool enlistedmen's uniform.
