Story
Reaper of the Banshee veers off from the series Inu-Yasha a short time after Sango joins the group. Inu-Yasha, Kagome, Miroku, Sango, & Shippou join forces with a hanyou named Komakaru and her protege Yatasha. The group decides to split up shortly thereafter: Sango and Kirara leave first, followed by Miroku, Komakaru, and Yatasha.
Later, Inu-Yasha, Kagome, & Shippou hear of Sango's death at the hands of Naraku. Fearing for her safety, Inu-Yasha sends a grieving Kagome back home to her own time. He takes the jewel shards from her without her noticing, then destroys the Bone-Eater's Well. Shippou, angry at Inu-Yasha for sending Kagome back, splits off soon after.
However, travelling alone after being in a group is very lonely. And there are certain problems that can't be dealt with alone...
