| Star Trek Their home is in the stars. Are you brave enough to follow? |
| Short Blurb: Star Trek kicks the butt of the universe!! My mom is a fan of the original series and as a result I have seen almost every episode of the original series, many episodes of The Next Generation, almost the entirety of Deep Space Nine, and a few episodes of Voyager. I have seen none of Enterprise because I am unfortunate enough to not have UPN. Disclaimer: I do not own Star Trek or the Akira class of ship. They belong to Paramount and Gene Roddenberry and all those other people. On the other hand, I am the owner of Kea Duster and both her families, her horses, Yume, Erik, Anaya, Thane, the Starkindler and her crew, Yami, Chubby Iruka, Krista-Lyn Caine and her family, the Wets and the Griffs and everything that comes with them, the Guardian Angels, the Sighna, and everything else that you've never read of before. Picture taken from StarTrekkie.com. Warnings: Language, violence, lime, orphans, genetic experimentation on humans (especially unborn infants) . . . I guess that's all for now. ~Lady Shinigami <--(e-mail me!) Last Updated: 7/26/04 Status: Nothing Yet! Log 0 Deep Space Nine: Doctor's Orders Twenty-six-year-old Kea Duster, a shy doctor subject to fainting spells stemming from spinal cord nerves that were incomplete at her birth, is only eighteen months out of Starfleet Medical and stationed on an Akira-class ship at the Klingon Neutral Zone when she is ordered to study the anatomy of other races the Federation has recently come into contact with. Against her wishes, it is decided that the best place for this is a temporary transfer to the new hub of the Alpha Quadrant--Deep Space Nine. Deciding whether her friend or her career is more more important to her, she soon faces the censure of Starfleet itself when she makes her choice. Spending six months in the peace of her home, dwelling on what she does not have, she finally comes to truly appreciate that which she has always had. What if you had gained the favor of an entire race--a race that could almost be considered god-like in their abilities--by protecting that which they held so dear? It is not immortality, but something only a step below it. Death is suddenly so far away that it would be laughable to give up that kind of power . . . right? Log 1 Deep Space Nine: The Corner of Heaven Sometimes reality is hard to face, especially when one has no desire to accept it. Kea finds herself in that delicate situation, unable to believe what she discovers but unable to disprove it when it could lead to her finally finding out who she is and why she was so callously left to the world at her birth. With little more than the support of her friend and children, she embarks on a mission to uncover everything that has been kept from her for her all her life. Log 1 <--Back |
