I suppose we all have a darkside. It's the part of us that continues to look, when we know we shouldn't...a morbid curiosity perhaps? I view my "Scythe" as nothing more than a tool, however rather than allow it to be viewed as anything other than a machine, I'm including the specs on my ship and weapons for those who simply can't turn away. "Gladiator" Very Heavy Fighter
Using a unique dual hull design, the Gladiator is light for its size. The cockpit is suspended separately from the main body of the ship and is held in place by a classified variant of a common tractor beam. Do not make the mistake of this makes it in anyway vulnerable. The Gladiator is built to fight, just like it's historical namesake. |

Weapons: I've included my combat loadout to provide a basic understanding of the configuration that I use. I do tend to vary the missiles. Cannonballs and Firestalkers are used interchangably, the latter sacrifices total destructive yeild for superior guidence over the former. My absolute favorite missle is of course the Paralyzer, which works effectively to shut down the target's powerplant, thus rendering them helpless from subsequent gun attack. When selecting weapons, one should always consider how well they will marry with each other to work in concert, during combat. The pilot would do well to consider projectile speed and refire rates for the weapons array they choose to employ. An unbalanced configuration will result in significant loss of accuracy and overall combat effectiveness. |
