Capcom vs. SNK 2
The Character Availability

Capcom Vs. SNK 2 offers over 40 characters to choose from, with about half from the Streetfighter series, and the other half coming from the King of the Fighters and Samurai Showdown series.  Each faction gives you a variety of characters to choose from, making it difficult to decide who to use, at times.

The Cons

The Extras

Capcom Vs. SNK 2 really has no special features to offer, as there was in the first Capcom Vs. SNK.  The only features available are the color edit mode and the groove edit mode, which allows you customize the way your charge gauge functions.  Both modes are not very impressive at all.  Also, only 1 secret character and level can be found in this game, those being the final boss, Ultimate Rugal.

The Endings

For the most part, all fighting games have stupid ending, but Capcom Vs. SNK 2 has no endings whatsoever.  The most you will see are 2-3 stills of Akuma and Rugal and then the credits roll.  In the past, a small ending is shown telling what happens to your fighter after the tournament, which still sucked, but at least it was something.

In The End

I have always enjoyed the Streetfighter and SNK games, which is why I picked up this game.  But I feel that nothing in this game really makes it stand out above all the others.  Die-hard fans will enjoy this game, but others may find it boring and repetitive after a couple hours.  My final score for Capcom Vs. SNK 2 is a 7.
