| Pros Continued... The Sound The in game music is awesome, just as it has always been throughout the Myst series. It is composed by Jack Wall of the PhilHarmonic company. And he does an impressive job in this game. If you got speakers hooked up to your PS2, USE THEM!! The Cons The Replay Value Just as I mentioned in the ICO review, once you go through these type of games once, it really has no use afterwards. I remember going through Myst again recently and I zipped through the whole game in under an hour. These types of puzzle games are great, but not for replaying them. In The End A good game with some compelling puzzles and an intricate stroryline. But Im afraid only fans of the Myst series will enjoy this one. Anyone who has never played the previous titles may feel a little lost, as the game tends to refer back Myst and Riven at many points in the game. The games retail price is $20, which is not bad at all, but will be passed up by those with no patience. Myst III: Exile gets an 8. |
