Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance
The Extras

MKDA has an extremely high replay value.  When playing the game, kurrency is earned with every match you  win.  With the kurrency you kan purchase unlockables such as kharacters, kostumes, koncept art, and many other behind-the-scenes artwork.  With over 600 secrets to unlock , one will be hooked on this game for hours on end.  In addition to the unlockables, MKDA also features DVD kontent such as a making-of featurette on MKDA, a piece on the history and evolution of Mortal Kombat, and a music video by Adema which features the theme song of MKDA, "Immortal".

The Kons

The Frustration Factor

HOT DAMN!! This game kan reeeeeeeeeeeeeally piss you off!  Difficulty kan be changed but even still.  The fights get harder as you progress through the lineup but some of these fights are downright ridiculous.  But for me, I'm more a 2D fighter person, so I'm not used to the 3D movement in a lot of fighting games today.  Games like Tekken and DOA also have 3D movement but MKDA uses it excessively.  What that means is rather than blocking an attack, your opponent kan simply step aside and kounterattack which kan be extremely frustrating.  But even so I find myself kursing at the TV, I always kome back for more MK ten minutes later.

In The End...

MKDA is not only a superb fighting game but overall is excellent.  The ingenuity of the new kharacters and the fighting system is well done and adds to the games's awesomeness.  Probably one of the best fighting games on any system today, if not, the best.  The replay value is very high, which is something that is not common in other fighting games.  Mortal Kombat is back and better than ever.  My final score for MKDA is 9.5.  GET OVER HERE!!!!
