Overview
Based on the popular series, self titled, BUFFY The Vampire Slayer, one can already tell what this game is about, vampire slaying. As Buffy Summers, Sunnydale�s hottest vampire slayer, you are faced with the task of vanquishing the undead with fighting moves and slayer weaponry. You are to save to world from these undead creatures.
PROS
The character rendered models are very nicely done. The voiceovers are patched well with the movements of each character�s movements and facial expressions. The battle scheme is simple and easily manageable. Special moves can be uncovered and are done in almost a �slow-motion� rate, giving to the depth of movie time action. The fighting combinations at which you can control are fantastic. Use stakes, brooms, mops and even the environment to your advantage. The graphics are very well developed and the sounds of the game are perfect. The music will send chills up your spine and goose bumps down your arm. This, along with splendid lighting and textures makes the game appealing to the ears, as well as the eyes.
CONS
If you have had a chance to view the TV series at all, you can tell that the dialogu was to represent a �valley-girl-teenie-bop-high-schooler� person. The game matches this by default, and to my demise, to a tee. What I�m trying to say is this,�I really don�t like the �what-ever� and the �like� words much in regular sentences,��LIKE,�WHAT-EVER!� But as I stated earlier, the game is based on the show, so therefore, the �likes� and �what-evers� come with the game. It gets annoying after awhile, trust me.
Overall
BUFFY The Vampire Slayer is a great game. The game has everything you would want in a game: bad guys, great graphics, awesome sound, cool moves, cool weapons, and a pretty hot looking hero,�actually heroin. Besides the �valley-girl� language, the game is simply great, and a must have. My score: 9
