Overview
What we have here is the 4th , yes,� 4th , version of another ongoing series. As you may have guessed, or known, this is one of those fighter games. With an elaborate cast of members, you have your variety of fighting styles as well as a few good looking women to choose from,�to fight with.
PROS
The game offers fantastic visual effects and graphics. The fluidity at which the game operates was well done. The ability to use the environment to your advantage was an excellent touch. Meaning, you are able to knock your opponent into and through a stone pillar, causing extra damage. The game play itself really hasn�t changed, so it�s relatively easy to get used to. The best feature that I noticed was the FVM�s in the ending sequences to the characters. They were actually longer in length AND added more inside depth to the characters. Trust me, you will like the endings of all the characters and the stories behind them. Great 2 player game, not to mention the awesome �J-Lo� look with Christie.
CONS
Other than the fact that it�s ANOTHER fighting game, the game did not offer any special bonuses. Sure there is Tekken Force, but I�d rather have a shot at bowling or something. The game tends to get boring after awhile also. Unless you are the type that HAS to learn EVERY combo available, then hey, this game is for you! Replay value is moderate.
Overall
Tekken 4 is a game that meets all its requirements on becoming a great fighting game. I�m not too much into fighter games, but the graphics in T4, are ones not to miss out on. Trying to be fair and open in my judgment, I, myself would score it lower. BUT in regards to overall game play, performance, graphics and style,�I would score it an 8.5.
