The only aspect of this game that I didn�t like is the fact that Sora is the only character you can control. Not that this type of RPG is bad, but for a game such as Kingdom Hearts, with the large amount of characters and allies you meet, it woulds have been nice to have more of a �group� effort. The battles in KH resemble those of Dark Cloud (PS2) and The Legend of Zelda games (N64) which are real time battles with the AI controlling your allies. As I said before, this factor does not bring the game down at all. I guess it�s just a matter of preference. I would have enjoyed more of a Final Fantasy type RPG. I just would have liked it more if it were.

Easily one of the best games of 2002, so far. Kingdom Hearts is great game, that I believe will not only appeal to RPG gamers, but all types of gamers, as well, for KH is a about half RPG, half action. KH contains all the necessary elements of a great game and is definitely worth purchasing. Kingdom Hearts gets a score of 9.9.
