| A series of grisly murders brings Lara into conflict with a sinister Alchemist from the past, and a secret alliance of powerful individuals shrouded in mystery. At the center of these mysteries are the Obscura Paintings � five 14th century pieces of art that the Alchemist is desperate to repossess. Accused of the murder of her one time mentor, Werner Von Croy, Lara becomes a fugitive on the run. Pursued by the police, she follows the Alchemist into a dark world of blood, betrayal and vengeance where it is up to her to defeat this unholy alliance, and stop them from unleashing their incredible powers on the world. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Angel of Darkness features classic Lara as both hunter and hunted; a skilled fighter who relies on her intellect, athleticism, and of course, her massive guns (and she fights with a couple of pistols too) But Lara is more than a pretty face with smooth moves; she also has an arsenal of high-tech weapons . Not too many details on this subjct yet, but as always, you can expect some awesome moves and firepower. In the latest game installment, she faces more enemies with a stronger AI that require tons of strategic actions in the game. According to various reviews, Lara now has the ability to interact with multiple characters and make choices about what path to take. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Lara runs, climbs walls, shoots; all while looking good doing it using some impressive gymnastics. All of her actions are intricately modeled to produce the lifelike athleticism that made the Tomb Raider movie and Lara Croft famous. Also, taking a page out of Metal Gear, Lara will have the option to take a more stealthy, sneaky approach (sneaking up on enemies, peeking) The game employs a brand new engine built from the ground up to fully exploit the power of the PS2. Lara is made up of over 5000 polygons (vs. 500 in the previous tomb raider) She must explore an intricately detailed world from the back streets of Paris to the hellish depths of Prague. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Angel of Darkness also introduces a new ally named Kurtis Trent, who will be a playable character. Along with Kurtis comes new moves and attacks. Kurtis has some kind of telekinetic powers and uses a weapon called a Glaive, which is a razor sharp disc that is thrown at enemies. Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness has it all: guns, grit and glamour so get ready for a new Lara Croft for a new generation of gaming. Expect better control, cool special effects, and extra features in AOD.The game is due out November 19. I already got my reservation. Believe me, this game is going to be the SHIZNIT! |
