The Story
Wow! To this day, Chrono Trigger remains one of my favorite games of all time. Most of it is due to the awesome story. The events and occurrences work extremely well, as this game tends to deal with time travel. Many of your actions will change history and create new storylines, which is super cool. The fact that you go to many different time periods adds to the diversity of the game, keeping it fresh and appealing.
The Gameplay
Chrono Trigger is a game that will keep you playing for hours. Its gameplay is absolutely amazing. The combat system is a major plus in this game, as the random battles are eliminated (kinda) and the combine tech feature allows 2 or all allies to combine attacks causing killer damage. The intricate storyline works very well at keeping your attention, and all mixed with the new addition of animated cut scenes, which aren�t the most FLIUD, but still look really good (think DragonBall type animation)
The Cons
No cons in this game. What lacks in graphics, is made up for in the gameplay.

Any fans of RPGs more than likely are partial to the Final Fantasy series, so Chronicles is an absolute must for RPG gamers. You can see how the first FFs were the bases for the current Fantasys of today. Also, Chrono Trigger IS one of the best games of ALL time, as many will agree with me. To bring two classic games such as these back from the past, is a great idea by SquareSoft. Hell, it�s two games for the price of one. You can�t beat that. As I said before, I didn�t really like the new FFIV, but at least I have the option of playing this great game again and again from now on. FF Chronicles gets a 9.5.
