| The Sound So far, this article looks almost identical to my review of FFX. I guess thats because SquareSoft strives to improve on every aspect. The music and sound effects of FFVII are truly amazing. Nobuo Uematsu is once again responsible for the games awesome soundtrack. As far as I know, maybe hes done the whole series. The in games music works really well with what is going on with the story. The sound is one of the best features of this incredible title. The New Elements There were many new creative elements added to VII. The best so far, that has been used in the following titles is the Limit Break System. After taking a certain amount of damage, each character will unleash a different specialty move, that is extremely useful when battling tough enemies. Another feature I found to be great in FFVII, was the Materia system. Out of all the titles, I find this magic scheme to be the best. The Cons Cait Sith is the most retarded character to ever be attached to a SquareSoft title. And I dont think Im the only person who thinks this. Other than his dumb ass, I have no cons to report about FFVII. In The End As I stated in the FFX review, Final Fantasy VII used to be my favorite, until X took the number one spot, but just X barely surpasses VII and I think thats because of Xs awesome graphics. But if VII had graphics like X, it would be no contest. This game has it all. Perfect 10. |
