| The Extras Just as in Tony Hawk, there are new levels to unlock, hidden characters to find, new tricks and stunts to be learned, and bonus missions to complete. The many features available in this game are what make the game fresh and entertaining. 5 single and 5 multiplayer modes are also available to choose from when playing. The Levels Because of the new found freedom with the HoverBoard, you are taken to new environments and heights. One level consisted of skating between several rooftops of skyscrapers. The levels in AirBlade just add to the coolness of the game because, youre not confined to a school campus or empty warehouse like you are in Tony Hawk. The Cons The Length The story mode in AirBlade is rather short and easy to get through. It took me about a week to get through all of it. Most of the objectives are kinda easy to achieve. I found myself on the fourth stage already, by the end of my first session playing it. And even though the games offers other modes to play, they tend to get rather insipid after a few runs through them. In the End. An easy way to explain this game would be Tony Hawk on training wheels. Because of its easy controls and the fact that it is rather difficult to actually FALL in this game, it decreases the frustration rate (much of which I find whenever I play any of the Tony Hawks) and justs adds the fun factor of the game. With its only flaw I found, being the length of the game, I give AirBlade a score of 9. |
