About the tour....

That was that is.

The tour dubed "STENCH 2000"
We all pilled in Nigels station wagon without a trailer, five of us all our shit and no room to breath or move.  Each stop required a full team effort to repack the fucking thing, each item had a place, and there was no room for variation. It ment that we lived in and out of each others pocket for a week and by the end of it, we couldn't stand the sight of each other.  This year we will be hiring a van and getting some accomodation rather than the five of us sleeping in Nigels fucking three man tent.  Stupid bastard.

The opening night in Dunedin at Fusion saw massive CD sales and one of the best nights fusions had seen all year, with support from MC hambone and the funky feelings, the tour was underway.

Then we hit the road with our first stop at Invercargill venue Tillamens.  There, the stench crew backed up with the blistering toungs had a good night with the Invercargill locals producing some very interesting mullets for the boys entertainment.

Nelson was next on the adgend and with support from Mother Guru it was set to be a huge night.  The thursday crowd came out to find out what was going on and were duely impressed with the performance.  At the end of the mot valley highway came one of the highlights of the tour at Hot Mumas. Again with mother guru, The stench crew put on the best show of the tour to the best crowd of the tour.

Finally we hit Christchurch for the last show, and after finding the roughest shitest pub in town we put on the most pathetic performance that anyone could have.  In fact if it hadn't have been for the very excellent Molly says go, I think the whole evening would have been a total right off. however the fat bastard with his shirt undone chanting slayer, made it all worth while...

So all in all the tour was a sucess and we actually came away with a profit of about 45c each, which was unreal seeing as we spent the beer budget by the time we hit Kiakora.  We got our music out of Dunedin and hopefully this years tour will be a bigger better and draw more of a crowd.

Enter the sight.
