The Egyptan smiled and moved away, glancing out the door as her tails flicked quietly back and forth. She was the most beautiful creature Raidia had ever seen. Its coat was coloured a ghostly shade of purples, pinks and white. A gentle whisper of colour.
-What can I call you? And is there any way to learn to speak like you do?- Raidia quietly signed with her hands.
Smiling at her the Egyptan nodded. *I do not have a name but many have come to call me Whisper. Learn to speak through your mind? Of course, child, its simple. Come now, we've much to do.* With a flick of Whisper's tail she headed out the back door. *There's no telling when Korth will attack but it is said that he is close. I will take you as far as I can but the majority of this quest will leave you alone, but with our time together I will teach you mind speech.*
Raidia nodded and quickly followed after Whisper.
It was only a day before Raidia was ready to leave. She had been given new clothes and a satchel in which to contain things she needed. Which was simply food, water, and her paints. One day it'd hold the hidden cocoon which she was in search of, if she ever found it.
With the satchel slung over her shoulder she gazed out across the barren lands in which she'd be treking across.
-It looks so...empty...so desolate.- Raidia signed with a sad expression and Whisper nodded.
*It will be for a very long part of this journey.* Whisper had taken her far out into an abandoned land. *This is where we part now. Be strong.* And with that Whisper vanished into the dunes.
Be strong... She whispered to herself and scanned the area before turning and walking. Once again she didn't know where she was going but she felt drawn there.
